When we have rented homes for vacation, we always want to know more about what is included and other things to do. We hope this FAQ will help you with some of the common questions that come up.
What’s your cancellation policy?
Reservations must be cancelled 45 days prior to your stay for a full refund. We do this so that we can make sure our home is available to other guests with interest.
Do you allow pets?
We are are picky about pets. Size limits and proper vet records will be requested prior to approval. An extra fee may also be requested to help with cleaning costs and pest control.
Are you available for questions via phone, text or email?
Of course! Our family wants your visit to be the best vacation ever! We know that sometimes there are things that just cannot be answered on the web. Give us a call and we’ll be sure to answer any questions. If you are at the house and something doesn’t seem right, please let us know right away. We are good problem solvers, but lousy mind readers.
What comes with the home for guest privileges?
Pair-A-Dice comes with all of the comforts of your own home. We have tried to think of everything that you might use or enjoy. Having said that, if you see that something is missing that would improve your stay for the next visit, just let us know. If it is something that makes sense, fits in the budget and improves others’ vacations, we are all for it. Have a specific need prior to your booking or arrival? Just ask us.
What is the minimum required stay?
We request that you stay a minimum of 4 nights. Why? It is just too much work and wear and tear on linens, the house, pool, hot tub, etc. for shorter stays. We try to offer the best amenities at a reasonable price and feel that shorter stays would cause the nightly rate to increase.
What is nearby?
Pair-A-Dice is a rural feel with farm land and animals around us. We are just around the corner from Dusty Ridge Park (public boat ramp here). For fun things off property, see Alexander sports and recreation page. There is a Lowes grocery store just 6.8 miles from the house. There are also bigger box stores in Conover, Statesville and Hickory. We are also close to the Hickory Scuba and Marina. This offers a great place to fill up with fuel right on the lake.
